That's Ms Doctor Who, thank you

I'm sure that you were being sarcastic, but check out any article on Jezebel about shaving vs not. Apparently some women believe that shaving is very anti-feminist because surely no woman has really chosen to shave. Oh no. Those women are trapped in the web of patriarchy and don't even realize it. So pathetic. Or so I

I had to star you. I just love that gif. I can't remember which episode it's from, but he's hilarious in it.

I am so jealous. I love spending time with my hubby at home, but we're so different on vacation that he ruins it for me. His idea of a nice vacation is exactly what he'd do on any boring Saturday that he just happened to not have anything else to do: sleep til noon, pig out in bed watching movies and maybe with a

I love how realistically beautiful that version of Barbie is, but I feel weirded out that there are actually people being creepy about the shape of her butt right here in the comments.

Oh really? I'm new to the area I'm in. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Just make sure that the both need to learn how to do all the chores and that they do the same amount of them! Maybe by having them swap every other week? After all, if they have a period of time when they're single as adults, they'll need to know how do take care of themselves anyway without help from a partner. I

Hilarious headline. I love it. Where can we see the entire songs instead of just clips?

I thought she looked cute and really nice and friendly in that photo, too.

I wonder if caviar spoons would have the same effect.

That was great. Thank you for sharing that.

Thank you for the link. My child is still too young for most of these books, but that one looks like one he can grow into sooner than later. I made the mistake of not paying enough attention to age appropriateness and now I've got shelves of books he won't comprehend for years. So in the meantime I'm all like

Well then, can we make this a thing? Can we start up a petition to a publishing house or a Kickstarter or something?

When I was pregnant and looking for books featuring POC, I came across it. I still don't have it yet, but it's on my wish list. Didn't it get the Caldecot award?

The main problem is the dearth of books with POC as the main character. When I was looking at books for my child when I was pregnant, I wanted to make sure that he was exposed to diversity in his books. The best I found were photo books that have a "global" theme, but there are very few actual story books.

If your goal was to correct me, you did that and I said that you were right. If that was your only goal, it hasn't been moved, I introduced a new tangential but relevant subject based upon the previous discussion, like people do when they're having a conversation.

She was made the offer to settle over a year ago for $1.25 million and they chose to fight it instead, so that's part of my logic that clearly they believe that they have a good defense against the claims. People who claimed not to be paid or underpaid, do the records contradict those claims? Are the other employees

You're right, and that wasn't intentional. I didn't read the whole thing, and actually I'm spending waaaay too much time on this today already, I read on past that and there's more stuff that raises questions. In the deposition she's already trying to discredit people who won't contradict her story, saying that they

I've been seeing a lot of people calling the "complaint" the "deposition" and getting them mixed up. That sounds like Lisa T. Jackson's description, which was in the complaint. Paula Deen said in her deposition that she was referring to specific waiters and that they were dressed in white tuxedos. Lisa T. Jackson's

That was very well said, and I agree with you about this. This is the way that I see it.

Oh, I want to see that!
