Matt Lauer makes my skin crawl. There is such a weasel vibe about him. This drawing is much improvement.

I immigrated to the US in August 2008 and I felt so proud and excited to be here. I felt I was living my own American dream, and this awesome, imperfect, handsome, bright President was going to lead us forward. There is still hope though, because we will get through this.
What is your problem??? There hasn’t not been any lies to disprove the false premice that hasn’t been made yet but won’t be in the near past. As far as we know.
Wonkette’s analysis of this “painting” is pretty funny:
You know, as I’m reading your comments, I’m reminded of what people were saying about Cheetolini’s candidacy, campaign, and election - how he really doesn’t mean this and that, how he does have some good qualities, how the party will not stand for this, how the democratic safeguards will keep him in check, etc.
I also think 9/11 was the start of the unraveling, in the sense that it coalesced a lot of the toxic strands of American culture in a reaction to a deep-seated fear that had suddenly (not so suddenly if you were paying attention) taken a tragic, graphic form. So of course, what you fear, you create.
Somebody else on this site posted this quote (from Revenge of Sith of all places):
Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson has a cooler name than his brother,
Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson.
This is off topic, but I can’t wait to show you jezzies. OH MY GODS YOU GUYS. An anti-abortion movie, produced and directed by Nick Loeb (Sofia Vergara’s ex) featuring Milo Yiannopoulos, Tomi Lahren, Jon Voight, Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Sorbo(!), Jamie Kennedy (!!!), has been “mired in chaos”.
Ann Coulter was calling them “child actors”, apparently: https://www.thedailybeast.com/ann-coulter-smears-immigrant-children-as-child-actors?ref=home
Renard is a very knowledgeable and compassionate advocate for immigrants. There is nothing wrong with providing context.
What’s the impact of a 3-year old lying? We’re not talking about lying in the abstract - we’re talking about the President lying. Because of his lies, people have died. I don’t care why he lies.
Also intent doesn’t matter, impact does. Everybody, especially the President, needs to strive for truth because lies are destructive.
Thank you for the context. I always appreciate your input.
Anything you can spare helps:
That’s the cycle of abuse right there. Words are just that - words. Let’s see him actually do something about this.
Same here. That interview gave me second-hand anxiety. It’s so familiar and hurtful.
Then you have to watch The Gift. I never made the connection but it’s pretty much like you describe it - if the dude from Juno fully embraced his nice-guy-really-a-sociopath side.
Me too! I rewatch it all the time. Esp. the episodes about Scientology.
Mark Ebner, in 2015, talked about the “industry” protecting Cosby. He addresses Marty Singer specifically in this clip. He also talks about a “comatose playmate” being carried out of Cosby’s room at the Playboy mansion - gossip, I know, but totally likely that Cosby would overdose somebody:
