I felt that way in the Gob episodes, and especially the Maeby one (and I worried about Maeby being able to sustain a whole episode). It ended SO strong and the early stuff gets much better on second viewing. That said, the George Sr ep was a bit of a stinker, but you can't always bat 1.000. :)
