I think you're right about this distinction between "blog" and "e-zine." The Gawker sites try to walk that line; as we can see in this article (and many articles on Giz, Kotaku, Jezebel, etc.), the writers just jump that line to vent their frustration.

The band music video that's linked is better produced than the last few music videos I've seen.

Just from experience, shower board's price is offset by the fact that it wears out quickly. Even with only moderate usage, it will probably need to be replaced in a year or two. Cleaning it is a PITA, too, if you don't wipe marks off within a few hours.
