And come to think of it, DQVIII cheated. The faces there were just textures. Mind you, the head shapes were still a good indication of how to 3D-model up a Toriyama design. Could be good to look at for any future attempts :)

Chrono and Marle faces look weird, particularly Marle. I was about to say that it's hard to 3D up Toriyama's designs, but Dragon Quest VIII kinda proved me wrong on that.

In cases like these, I would usually try to see what the "infinite" option is like. If the game is good enough to justify it, I'll happily pay to, y'know, play the game unhindered.

Yeah, as I've been learning the game I've realized that there are two items in the game that are absolutely freaking essential if you want to do the tougher content: The shotgun, and paste.

It's kinda impossible for the comic to spoil future events in the show right now, possibly except for potential future plotlines, 'cause the show has veered way, WAY far from how the comic goes now.
