The Vita had some odd difficulties connecting to my network... That is, the connection test would pass maybe one in ten times, but I still have no issues making it work online otherwise.

They're very different games. I'd say try'em both, see which fighting system feels best to you. They both have an absolute crapton to learn if you wanna get good at them: BlazBlue with its fighting system and options, MvC with its crazy amount of characters and combo-heavy system.
Well, what happened there was that you killed him AND yourself in the process. Lit match in a cabin chock-full of alcohol = boom.
Could've been worse. Me, I used the saw.
Yeah, the grindiness of doing what was left in NG+ was what kept me from trying that. I still do need to do Ornstein and Smough on my own - only done it with two way-overpowered phantoms, and as one of a pair of helper phantoms - and I need to take out the bridge dragon. Trouble is, the bridge dragon glitch-died on my…
Don't do it, Relm! The game'll glitch!
Judging by the progression of cover art there, it looks like the third game would've had a soldier looking bored on its cover.
The Milkman level is sort of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, it's by far the funniest thing in the whole game. On the other, it's a confusing, dull and backtracky level. Thank goodness for the G-men making it worth playing, then.
SNES Jurassic Park.
So that's Dan's GHOST doing the tutorial?
It's not the first time a fighting game maker has re-used character models. The Marvel VS series recycled a lot of sprites, for instance. It's business sense... If they can make it work in the game, why change it just to change it?
I like over 9000 Mudkips that eat lying cake in all your base.
Just being able to move closer or further away has an effect on combos too. As a (never all that good and now seriously rusty) Cody main in SSF4, I've been following his changes, and among his buffs is a very slightly increased range on one of his special moves. This in turn improved his juggling opportunities, since…
In all honesty, the gems aren't ALL that big a problem in theory. Keeping them balanced isn't going to be any worse than keeping the Marvel Versus Capcom series balanced. The challenging thing is going to be keeping certain gem combinations from making certain characters overpowered or hard-countering some strategies,…
Elijah Wood going "Doot dodoo! I'm leaving!" and then running off through the parking garage... Good gods, I thought I'd die.
Do you ever, EVER see yourself doing local multiplayer or using the console for moviewatching? Then stick to your TV.
Spent pretty much all of yesterday updating my LittleBigPlanet 1 levels to take proper advantage of the LittleBigPlanet 2 engine... And heavily revamped one of them.
That was ALMOST a perfect "3-4-5-6-7-8". Dangit, OXM, if you're going to be way more positive than your UK counterpart, at least go all the way!
Without spoiling anything, if you're afraid of Smough and his lanky pal, you're SO not ready for what awaits you in the Abyss.
Haven't seen this here yet, so...
