If it'll actually be possible to put emulators on the final product (i.e. if Sony doesn't shut'em out), this might be the ultimate gaming phone... Though for different reasons than what Sony wanted, I suppose. The PSP already has a perfect Sony-made PS1 emulator, so I'm at the very least expecting one like that,

@Bouzi: Go Habs Go!: Why do you need to be a "true" gamer? Play what you like, and enjoy that.

Ah, good to see a Wario main.

@NarooN: Just my luck that a Heavy Rain reference with the girl's name from the first game would be interpreted as a simple Silent Hill 1 reference. Should've gone the simpler "Press X to Cheryl" route.

Cheryl!

@AnonUserAnonymous: I quote from my own post: "The fact that most people were surprised to learn it was a sequel to something, pretty much says it all. "

@Raso719: Devil's advocate: Mass Effect 2 was just the first sequel to an entirely new game series. Red Dead Redemption WAS something new... It allows you to fulfill those cowboy dreams in a way that no other game has done so far, even if it is based on the structure of the GTA series. The fact that most people were

@collectiveego: It's not that simple, though. What about the career mode? The attention to detail? Much as I don't play many sports games, I can see how one could put them up as a GOTY contender, because it's not just a matter of throwing the right number of players on the court and making sure the physics are

@DarkPenfold: I like how eventually, he defaults to JAson!

@BaconXBits: Next game, they'll figure out how to make characters look good when they open their mouths too.

@elmorepow: Because as interesting and engaging as the game is, it really doesn't hold up to closer scrutiny. It's a really good game, but hampered by clumsiness in almost everything.

@Shinta: I want a 3DS stylus that's also a Wiimote.

I think it's less "forgetting" and more "dear lord we have to fight our way up the beach on D-day AGAIN?"

Now playing

Aww, I was expecting censorship on a level with this.

@Zinger314: "Mega Man Universe" is actually thought of as Mega Man Powered Up 2. Based off of Mega Man 2, including a level editor.

@GretzkyR99: GTA4 is a next-gen experiment. They were seeing how they could take the GTA experience to the next level, and it didn't always work out. Such as, replacing the crazier stuff from San Andreas with annoying social obligations that you'd eventually just ignore. Especially considering that they involved even

@Coigleach: The idea with the silent protagonist is that the character is "you". Thing is, though, the game really has to be written around this. The more unwritten dialogue there is from you, the more awkward the silent protagonist role is. A good silent protagonist doesn't have fill-in-the-blanks conversations. At

@NeöStarr: I got carpal tunnel from using a gamepad, but that was a special situation.

@MoldyClay87: Journalism has to follow the Lowest Common Denominator standard. If someone is going to wonder about it, it's best to have it cleared up, especially in an all-the-facts article like this.
