@fuchikoma: The highway trial, I think it actually did matter which way you went... From what I could tell, there were some options where turning the wrong way would send you headfirst into another oncoming car.

Heeeey, I finished Heavy Rain today. Spoilers follow in the replies (first of all my own experiences with the game).
@Diamond Sea: You're just looking in the wrong places. I bought Smash Bros Brawl for 7 UK pounds at a Play.com sale this December. Granted, it does take a while for them to go down in price, but keep your eyes open online, and you'll find good prices.
@d4rk-h4x0rer: It's one of those movies where the horrible dubbing actually makes it better.
@KingHippo: I loved the game. It's Nintendo hard. But I think hearing everyone gush about Throwback Galaxy kinda ruined it for me. I was expecting something even more old-school, I guess, and so I felt a mild tinge of disappointment at running around what the level actually was.

@Inkmonkey: Where half the appeal of Uncharted IS the story and characters you care about, the appeal of Mortal Kombat lies elsewhere. Basically, to make a good story out of MK, you HAVE to change it, whereas if you change Uncharted, you're messing up an already-good story.

Ordered the PS3 version from an online store in Norway. They get copies of it on the 20th. The Norwegian release date is apparently the 19th.
