@Arnheim: Between flame resistance armor and the PFS, I was half-speeding through the whole game. That is, I didn't have full-speed rolls. A spear and large shield work well with a bob-and-weave playstyle rather than rolling around all the time. That's pretty much what I did throughout the game. Tried other weapons,

@I'm leaving a: Wellll, there's making the game fair, and there's "standing behind stuff and firing arrows".

@Arnheim: I beat Flamelurker on my first go. But then, this was on Pure White tendency, and I had good fire resistance gear and the PFS.

Ah, excellent. Though I'll probably still do my New Game + playthrough sometime over the new year. I kinda wanna keep playing, but I also kinda need to make some progress through my stack of unplayed games.

@hell_snake: It's a sequel that didn't really bring anything new to... Oh, wait. Hmm.

Ah, four serious men. And they all seem to have the same slightly-befuddled expression at being featured as a GOTY candidate!

@resvrgam: The 8-bit and 16-bit endless surge of identikit platformers and SF2 wannabes wants to have a word with you. Also, the 32/64-bit generation's attempts at pulling a Tomb Raider or Mario 64. Also kart racers.

@SmilingPolitely: Though apparently, Dr. Watson was a bit of a badass and ladykiller in the original books.

@KingDarian: HAY PERFESSAH! OI SOULVED THE PUZZUHL!

@Jadfish: Try working in a newspaper, where Nescafé are VERY VERY EAGER to E-mail you about how George Clooney "picks Nespresso rather than the girls". Chrissakes. Hey, Nescafé... IT'S NOT NEWS AND YOU'VE E-MAILED ME THIS THREE TIMES ALREADY AND YOU'RE JUST BEING ANNOYING!

I can't believe, for all his work on that game, he forgot about flying with the A button instead of the B button. Could've done that... one area where he had to fly up through that hole in one shot.

@Mooglecharm: I dunno... Here in Norway, at least, I usually fail to go a day without catching the GT TV commercial at least twice.

@SerectAgentSteve: Well, clearly if you want backwards compatibility, you'll want the 60gb model, right? If not, just get a Slim.

@Lanbeast: Beware. You will lose hours. HOURS.

@adam483t: There's no Super Street Fighter 4 for the PC, so you're better off getting that for the PS3. And, well... A lot of the game's characters are playable with a regular PS3 pad. Stick with that for a while, see if you actually enjoy the game.

@TheNick316: Ono wants it to happen, but nothing's confirmed. The Shoryuken board people are convinced that it's not going to happen for some time, though, since Capcom want people to have an incentive to actually go to arcades.

@Jekku: However, if you're in Europe and care about games being playable the way they were meant to be played, consider whether the booklet and CD is worth the money for the package... Considering that the games themselves are NOT playable the way they should be played, but only at 5/6th of their original speed.

@黒天使: I think it's less the protests and more the death- and bomb threats that people go up in arms about.

@Fauxcused: Someone calling people like him "douche" usually stems from one of a small selection of reasons:

As we know, there are some games where you don't finish them because you just stopped having fun with them (like... Brütal Legend). But how about those games you really do enjoy, but SOMETHING keeps you from finishing them... Either because you just don't want there to be an ending, or because you don't want to get
