I'm with BenToothless on this one. Why is it okay to describe them as hoards of pasty white dudes? Imagine the game is in an African country. Do you describe the same thing as "hoards of very black men" rushing onto the field? What would the reaction be to that statement? It's bullshit.

I don't follow sports closely. Has there ever been a discussion about pitchers wearing hard helmets? I can't imagine that the pitchers would want to do that and would probably fight back hard. Given their movement could they even keep a helmet on their heads?

This was a FUN movie. As a kid, and even today, I really enjoyed it. To your point, I think Russell makes the movie. BTW, I'd love to see the next article like this written about Buckaroo Banzai.

I have to admit that this game has been a guilty pleasure of mine. The graphics are good, the animations are really cool, I love the slow motion, and it fulfills that desire to sit there and snipe away. It's a really fun game and generally the price is a bit lower than other games.

Game isn't blacked out. The display is poorly constructed and the word "Game" is in red that you can barely see.

On the replay, look down the court at how many players are just standing there. It was a 3-on-1 fast break. Do NBA players even bother to get back on defense any more? Do they just concede that it's going to be a slam dunk so why bother getting back? It's a joke.

Reminded me a bit of this:
