That's one thing I'm glad I never saw in our schools. Don't recall any banned books (other than what's pretty much porn). They just sent home a note at some point letting the parents know that the kids may start reading books containing adult themes.

For Marvin's sake, I hope these guys aren't around.

I have to agree, and also wonder which Mach 1 they will be using. There were some in the 69-70 model, the 71-73 model, and 03/04 Mach 1's. I'm gonna guess a 71-73. And Hamster will undoubtedly say something about it being the car used in the original Gone in 60 Seconds.

In this case the spin outs are on the drivers and teams. The end of the straight looks to have a low spot and therefore a big puddle. But since the yellow was out and the teams have access to track maps, they'd know cars were going off and should have told their drivers about the situation. Standard protocol is to

What do you want? Standard practice is to throw a yellow, which is what they did. It's the drivers fault and theirs alone to ignore the yellow and push hard enough to go off track.

It should also be on Friday. Sunday kinda defeats the point! If you need to plan ahead or set the DVR, you're screwed.

Anyone catch the TUSC race where a Porsche broke a front end component and slid at close to 100mph very narrowly through the two cars ahead?

Here's the other one. I posted about it, but somehow I'm still in the greys. What's a guy gottta do to get out of that Jezebel induced nonsense?

Another stream with commentary from the Radio Le Mans team.

A. Screw Fox Sports

This is my guilty pleasure supercar. Seems like it's one you're not supposed to like because of how dangerous it is, and how difficult it is to drive, but I love everything about it. The shape, the open roof, the interior, the challenge of driving it, and dear god that engine. The exhaust note gets me nursing a semi

As I understand it, the only reason you need a CDL is if you're getting paid to drive. You can drive your own semi wherever you want on a normal license.

Half way across the country.

And perhaps someone can tell me...is there a reason sports cars seem to be released at the end of the year when half the country won't want to drive them? Could it be teething issues maybe?

It very well could be plugs, but it could be from a lack of stress over the past couple months. After a particularly bad stress 4 month period of work for me earlier this year, I felt my hair was a bit thinner, couple months removed back from that, and I'm returning to hippie status!

Totally agree. I want one of these really bad, but I'm not going to settle for less than I want (especially knowing what could be around the corner). So by the time I get the performance pack V8 with Recaros, It's mid $40's, which is ridiculous. High 30's to 40 was bad enough last year.

Ford offered up two models in two different trims with two different transmissions for testing: the 5.0-liter V8 GT and the turbo'd 2.3-liter Ecoboost, both available with the Performance Pack and both available with either a six-speed manual or automatic. The convertible doesn't come out until this fall, so it was

I quite wonder what happens to the guy who was in ownership when this was found out. Is he just out 10k or whatever he paid for it, or is there some sort of reimbursement for him?

Absolutely love the fact it was Tom Glavine in the booth commentation on TG bobblehead night. Perfect opportunity for the guys to rib him about his fielding.

And someone drove one to the hotel for the 50th Anniversary Mustang celebration in Charlotte.
