Yup, the hours suck. If you get stuck in a traffic jam for 5 hours, that's 5 hours you're not getting paid and 5 hours you lose the ability to make money. I understand the hour limitations as they were designed, but in use, they suck.

You thought wrong. If a driver makes 40, they're doing good (except for the drivers that have been with a company for 30 years, which rarely happens). Even owner-operators struggle to make 35-40.
Best of luck to you on that, but I seriously doubt you'll find anything like that. Companies don't want part time drivers, and if you want a local route, most companies (around here anyway) want a driver with at least 1 year of perfect over the road driving.
Maybe someone can elaborate, is there any difference between these and the stock cars used for NASCAR, other than the body?
If this were to happen, don't be tricked into thinking there wouldn't be a "cockpit" - it'd be premium first class seating. Hell, I'd sure like to sit up front!
I love everything about this.
The day I got my license. My dad took me to a pizza place, I was thinking, awesome, pizza! He got out, threw the keys at me and said "you're up". I spent the next 15 minutes driving from one parking spot across a row into another spot. Then reversed back into the original spot. I did okay at it, but it wasn't until I…
For sure. After they got up early, it was LBJ versus the Spurs. Time and time again, he'd make a move to get a shot, get double/triple teamed, and none of the other players would move an inch.
It's a scoreboard
I don't understand how people say the LMP1 cars sound good. There pretty much is no sound.
Sucks that it was his teammate, but the opening laps on cold tires going around a fast set of corners early in the lap, his back end came out, and when he over corrected slightly, he just happened to slide in the side of his teammate. Just a racing incident. Sucks for Marussia, but it happens.
Looks like Ricky tried to put Barbosa in the wall when he first tried to pass on the outside, so I don't see a problem with Barbosa returning the favor.
And then there was that weird ass BDSM Milk thing in the pre race coverage.
Ah, I misread. I thought you were talking of suit suits. My apologies. The shorter trunks are coming back around, though I'm not a fan.
Dunno where you're looking for suits, but it's the wrong place. There are plenty of "slim fit" suits these days. Stay away from Suit World.
Nope, sorry. No way you have beaten tuned up (03/04) Cobras with a stock Z; shy of having grandma jones behind the wheel, the motor in the 03/04 Cobras is referred to as a "Terminator" for a reason. It doesnt take much for it to see 600 hp, and gets over 1000 with a bit more work.
You also have to remember, people not trained for ejector seats can be injured pretty badly from their use. The g-forces are pretty high.
To this day, that is one of my all time favorite TG segments. Beautiful car, but the commentary, the music, and the engine noise combo-ed with the scenery is absolutely astonishing!
Can we get some help on deboarding the plane? Seriously, you got people up front taking their damn merry time getting their bags, and doing their hair, checking their phones or w/e while the people in back want to get off. Last time I flew on a tight schedule, I damn near missed my connector flight home because people…
I like to see people faces when I fold myself into my 04 Mustang. At 6'5.5 and a linebacker sized 350 lbs, it's interesting to see I'm sure. It's too low to throw in a leg and slide in, so I turn my back to it, sit on the seat, and rotate my legs in.
