Did I ever have a touch to lose?
Did I ever have a touch to lose?
It’s SO goddamned funny. It might just be because I’ve seen it the most, but line after line slays me. Sometimes from the writing, sometimes the delivery, often both.
“Anyone feel like grabbing some burgers and hitting the cemetery?”
You should try the Royal Tenenbaums again. Its such a riot. Gwyneth Paltrow said its her only performance that she can watch. So its got that going for it.
Sorry can’t do, corporate says we cannot treat employees as human beings unless there is a force outside our control that force us to do it
Not everyone was benefitting equally, so... get rid of it for everyone? What about do more to make sure those that still weren’t able to benefit got a chance to do so?
And they may be “old games”, but the work to remaster them is new (and done by people being paid modern salaries/in buildings costing modern overhead). It’s not like all that stuff is free.
Is $60 that much? Three, huge, amazing games? And it sounds like they updated the visuals, the controls, the UI etc? I dunno. Seems perfectly in line to me.
If Nandor had to be permanently done with WWDITS for fucking Cruella 2, that would elicit the biggest “fucking guy” from me that the world has ever heard.
It would be hard to top Super and Prime 1. Prime 2 almost did and Fusion has totally different atmosphere that works for other reasons.

To me, complaining about the mood in a Metroid game feels disliking a steakhouse because they cook the broccoli wrong
From what I can understand, completion time doesn’t take checkpoint resets or time spent on the map screen into account. So whatever the clock says at the end, there’s a good chance the actual time spent on the game by the player was a few hours longers.
There is a brief review of Metroid Fusion at the beginning of Dread. You should be fine.
I’m loving what I’ve played so far, but I’m kind of disappointed to see 8 hours as the playtime? Like yeah, I can tear through, say, Super Metroid in 8 hours now, but I remember getting a fair bit more mileage out of it the first time I played. Ah well, still having a great time, even if there was the one attack on…
The Metroid Prime series has quite a few bangers, and they certainly become extra memorable in the context of their games.
Sometimes subjective opinions are still wrong.
Small potatoes for an IP that borrows so much from Alien.
But to be fair, nobody should watch Red Planet.
Just think of it in terms of how media is cyclical.
I commented as much above, but having sunk a good many hours in already, I am in complete disagreement with the reviewer on that regard. I am all about the atmosphere.
