Yeah that's usually what I do, but I just wish it were true 120hz. When I look at the 120hz TV's at the store, I can clearly see the jittery-ness of the video as the screen attempts to "upconvert" a 60hz source signal into 120hz output. Currently, there is no commercial HDTV available that can receive a source higher…

While it's very subtle, I think you could make out the pixels if you look for "aliasing". Look through your text messages and look closely at the letter "y", if you focus on the diagonal lines in the letter you'll notice the tiny "jaggies" on it, those are the pixels.

I'm still waiting for true 120hz or 240hz screens that don't fake a higher a fresh rate. You can tell they're fake because you can't simply link a high end graphics card to one of them and achieve ludicrously smooth gameplay, they can only receive 60hz from an outside source and "upscale" it to a higher refresh rate.

...but that is impossible unless they have significantly better than 20/20 Vision or are watching from an absurdly close viewing distance.
