How is the game? I was thinking of grabbing it now that its' cheap. I love the originals. I mean, I know it's no $60 gem . . . but how is the combat and stuff. I'm always looking for a decent distracting action romp.

I'm behind you on this. I've had Grand Knights History preordered on Amazon since January. I'm dying to get my hands on it.
. . . and the music for that final battle is also extremely amazing.
Super Mario RPG's soundtrack is genius all around. This has always been one of my favorites. Phase one of the final boss battle.
Yeah definitely go for it. It's a great toy. I display him on a shelf with my Generations Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge. It makes me smile every time I look at them.
I must have that!
I was thinking about the origins of the chains as well. The entire time I was watching the teaser, I was thinking, "Does anyone really want to play a GoW game BEFORE the Blades of Chaos entered the picture"? If it was a true prequel . . . those iconic weapons simply couldn't be there.
I really like the Prime toys so far. I cant' afford to buy any of them at the moment, but I really want the Arcee and Ratchet.

I love the first two . . . but I feel like I dodged a bullet on that one.
I was in a beta for this. Although the visuals and overall aesthetic were a total delight (the very reason I applied for said beta), I found the game to be boring and somewhat unintuitive.
I definitely prefer 4 to 3 in the original releases, because I NEED full control of my whole party . . . otherwise I get frustrated. I'm planning on getting the PSP port of 3 though . . . as that version fixes the issue.
I'm just glad that someone got it. I was worried that I was being too obtuse.
Don't send the bomb squad to where it is, but rather, to where it's going.
The full extent of my familiarity with the French language.
The samurai who did the beheading from behind was called the Kaishaku. He was the actual cause of death. The disembowling rarely killed immediately.
Fair enough. What I mean is, are you talking about items you're getting from enemies that arent' consumables (ie. potions) or items to be equipped? They will have names like "begrimed claw" and "fiberoptic cable," etc.
