But what happens if we put a Starbucks on Mars? The Rover needs a place to access it's twitter feed. https://twitter.com/MarsCuriosity

They contain the plasma and the pressure using electromagnetic fields. This means that the pressure and heat that melts the diamonds is separated from the walls of the machine.

Touche. I've only seen a handful of code names. Usually it's given its final name by the time information on it has leaked/released.

Yeah, but I don't think it was THAT close. HTC has a tendency to codename their devices. Microsoft, not so much.

Except that was an HTC codename...

Apple reports that they created the device before Sony put out that render. Later, Apple referenced the Sony design (which was the part that was leaked first). Ultimately, it follows two different timelines. Apple created the original iPhone prototype in the style of the iPhone 4, then independently Sony created one

The argument that could be pulled here in Samsung's favor is that the design is generic. For both Apple and Sony to come up with a strikingly similar shape and design (Nearly identical) without ever having seen each other's products shows a flaw in Apple's case. Sure, Samsung copied the little details too, like

I still have yet to understand what you were trying to get across with that sentence.

Did the $15,000 citing include the equipment used in rigging his house with home-made explosives? That may explain the discrepancy.

That's far too short to be considered a realistic timeframe for copying another product. Devices like this go through months to years of development before release.

In the comic books it's described that it can only last about an hour or so, then it dissolves itself. So yes, NYC doesn't have to clean up because he thought ahead.

# 1: Some devices made today, including certain Ciscos, support remote access via console. This is by far easier, AND CHEAPER, than using modern IP KVMs or other remote console methods. Not to mention you can encrypt the phone line.

Hey Gizmodo, if you're going to show a Google clip, why not link to the original YouTube instead of chopping it up? No one realizes you're showing it at 300fps!

The fact that everyone is mistaking this video for real time probably has to do with the way Gizmodo chopped up this Google made video. Enjoy the original ;)

Actually, they filmed the video at 300fps. You're seeing playback at 30 fps, which means the animations are 10x slower. They're showing the difference between the 30fps animations on the left, and the 60fps animations on the right.

I love how they say "You can't beat the taskbar." then they proceed to completely remove that from Metro as well. (Yeah, I know it's still there in Classic UI, but it just doesn't work the same for me)

You could always install the Kindle app. You may miss out on some features from the Fire, but overall I'd take the smooth running stock Android device.
