"Right now we have access to every classified database in the U.S. government. It's a matter of when we leak the contents of those databases, not if. You know how we got access? We didn't hack them. The access was given to us by the people who run the systems."

Well, his argument was that it's not the battery, it's the device. Power consumption of an iPhone (or any modern smartphone) is significantly higher than predecessors.

Steganography with encryption can be a very complicated beast. Lets say that the person creating this file were smart, they would encrypt the file, then embed it into the video file. Finding out that there's something in it is only part of the process. It's not as simple as I first stated, which was loading it up into

When you find a USB stick on a high profile target such as this, you don't suspect that it's just "porn". Analysis happens outside of the video player, and instead in a super glorified hex editor of sorts. No boners were harmed in the investigation of this USB drive.

Pause at 0:30. The item next to the windshield is the improvised manhole cover, which is a metal cylinder and a square grate welded together, roughly wide enough to be hit by both wheels of the vehicle. Looks to me it got caught on the tire, lifted up and jammed the SUV like a javelin. Looks like this is next to a

dd works a little differently than shred, mostly because its intended for use with partitions, instead of entire drives. "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/xxx" will also only run a single pass of zeroes, where as "shred -vfz -n 1 /dev/xxx" will do N number of random passes, then a single pass of zeroes.

Give this man another star.

It's also been mentioned that by adjusting the firmware to disallow backlight when the light levels are checked. Unless the camera constantly checks light levels this shouldn't be an issue. such short bursts of flicker are unnoticeable by the user

Damn, you beat me by just seconds. I just posted the same image.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please lower your amplifiers to half-volume."

Thanks, I was looking for a remix version of that song, but I couldn't remember the names. Helped a lot.

Off topic, anyone know the song playing in the background at 1:50? It's annoying me that I can't recall the name or artist.

Yeah but Sense 4.0 or stock ICS? I've always wanted a Nexus phone for the stock OS, but looking at this thing I'm really leaning towards Evo now.

DAMN IT! Now I have to choose when I switch to sprint?! Galaxy Nexus or Evo?!

Designed to kill someone? Check

Looks pricey (you know, it is patented and pretty much proprietary). The added height and cost probably don't compare to just putting in a high quality laminate or veneer floating floor... I don't feel like ripping up existing carpet in other rooms just to raise the floor to the same level as the Scissor loc.

Birth control already does this...

monkunashi is correct, the underlayment can be a foam or cork material that goes over the vapor barrier that assists in both smoothing out the sub floor for the laminate and suppressing sounds. Some laminate flooring comes with a sort of underlayment built in, but most don't.

This defeats the purpose of a floating floor. You are not supposed to seal, nail, glue, staple, etc your floors to anything. If you take the proper precautions, you will have a laminate floor that is made of water-resistant material, with an appropriate vapor barrier and padding that aids the floor in drying, should a
