Sounds like you had some cut-rate insurance... shoulda went with Allstate.

They generally are disabled by deafult, more or less. I know on my dad's work truck, which has automatic headlights, it comes "shipped" with the headlight switch in the "off" position. From there you can put it to "parking" "on" or "auto." Once people put it to auto, they simply think the car is smart enough to do

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that the average American doesn't have rental tires on their car. Annually, tire sales in the US are ~$30 billion. The largest of these predatory rental companies does ~$100 million in sales, meaning that it (as a company) accounts for .33% of the US tire industry.

Fair deal.

You need to watch the rest of Birgirpall's videos then. You will, in fact, become dead.

I hate to say it, but I have totaled a car out this way. If you think you can make it two minutes down the road you may not actually be able to.

#1 is the reason Satan created metal. Whenever I'm a little worn out while driving, I just open the windows and crank some Pantera etc.

SNA (John Wayne) has planes taking off at 20 deg AOA, while stick shakers might be set at 30 deg AOA. The FAA probably doesn't want a stall-crash any more than the pilots or local homeowners...

I don't know enough aero to agree or disagree with your idea about low noise and how it impacts commercial take-offs in the US, but I'm betting there's no such requirement at Bagram.

This is why I HATE (and am somewhat terrified) by mandated 'low noise departures'. You are flying at the edge of a stall in a configuration that doesn't give you enough altitude to get the nose down if things go wrong and you lose lift. You can see the plane fall off on the left wing, and the pilot attempting to

I'll just leave this here:

With new tires, and it runs well, a solid grand. Nothing more though.

Better question: what do you think some die hard, wealthy fan will pay?

Not much more than it would normally be worth, but still a cool little rig. From what I've gathered watching the show, it's even a manual!

Definitely looks like someone got you with their car door Patrick. Lines are far too parallel for keys.
