Yeah, never discount the spear phishing attack.  So many LMG employees have been introduced on the channel in tour videos that it definitely makes you vulnerable.  Hopefully this channel strife is the only thing to happen from this.

I don’t think there’s shame at all in moving back in with older parents to help them out with any of life’s struggles. I’m in the process of doing the same with my 73 year old father.  My job doesn’t require me to be 370 miles away from Dad and he has the room for me.

Probably because William Hurt played the eccentric robotics pioneer in A.I.

KeePass is just awful. Truly awful. It’s free and I still want a refund. It’s generator is too dumb to understand that I need at least one upper case letter, lower case letter, and a number.

That wasn't William Hurt in I, Robot.  That was James Cromwell.

Most people are right handed, and a gun outside a holster loosely floating about a vehicle is very dangerous to the occupants.  Something could find its way inside the trigger guard and press the trigger enough to fire.  True, lots of folks do rig holsters into their vehicle to hold the firearm while they drive.  That

Don’t get me started on just how silly SovCits’ argument is. They think that just because Congress passed a law incorporating the entirety of DC as a single municipality (merging the handful of smaller ones that existed prior). That it somehow altered the fundamental fabric of the United States of America. There’s

Phase 1: Fuck Around
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Find out.

Look, cops have their problems, but ED-209 is a fictional armored automaton. It was not a squishy flesh and blood human being.  If we were enforcing laws with such automatons in real life they wouldn’t even need to wait.  They’d probably subdue the suspect in spite of the handgun.  The suspect could vainly empty the

A lesson to others? Perhaps.

I started calling this “You have reached phase 3 of Fuck Around and Find Out.”

Phase 1: Fuck Around
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Find out.

I feel it is appropriate in this instance too. Police have lots of culture and leadership problems in this country, but in this instance they were dealing with someone that already made an idle threat with the means to carry it out.

I don’t get the machismo for open carry. It’s like wearing a big lit-up sign that says “Shoot me first!”  However, open carriers do have value.  If you find yourself in a Pulp Fiction situation the armed assailants will hopefully be too focused on the open-carrier to notice all the unarmed people running and hiding.

Not necessarily illegally.  Probably found a local person for a private sale.  Such peer to peer transactions are completely legal in much of the United States and do not require filling out form 4473 or have a background check.

I see you've booked your Amtrak ticket to destination: fucked.

Ford and Ram still use solid front axles in their heavy duty 4x4 pickups.  On Ford trucks it's usually from very worn suspension components and/or bad caster adjustment on the alignment.  Later model Ford trucks are more sensitive to suspension wear because Ford has been lowering their caster spec to reduce steering

Just another turd in the manure lagoon.

A friend of mine works at a major nationwide bank, specifically the auto finance division.  Carvana has been a nightmare for them too.  Your bank really wants the title to the car so they can register their lien.

Shareholder call: “Company profits are at an all time high and we’ve never seen better revenues and YOY growth.”

Employee town hall: “The company is on the brink of financial collapse and we’re going to have to really tighten the belt to weather this storm.”

AirBnB’s party may be over.  They’re starting to show pricing like hotels do (Total cost of stay).  Plus AirBnB has begun cracking down on the more onerous departure tasks hosts require guests to perform.  So now hosts are competing with actual hotels and having to hire housekeeping instead of making guests do it.
