Seriously? How old is your tv? I can stream Amazon directly from my TV, as well as from my PS4 (and I used to use my PS3).

Umm. Roku? Doesn't seem that difficult.

I'm just going to throw this out there because it would be so so so so awesome: Free comics with Amazon Prime.

i am guessing that one should be coming soon. seems unlikely that they will stick to the higher pricepoint for long (esp after the recent mediafire and google drive reductions)

Any word on a price reduction?

I've shared numerous songs and such via Dropbox, as well as a few of the smaller games that I own. Mostly as a means to have them at hand when I need them. The first time it refused an audio file, I started zipping my collection with WinRar, problem solved.

So just zip the file and you're good to go? HASH checks generally verify integrity of a file, fairly easy to make the file fail a hash check. I'd recommend zipping it with a text file or something to make sure you change the length of the entire file.

About the only junk that came w/ my Win7 Lenovo laptop was the antivirus and the facial recognition to unlock Windows. Both uninstalled easily. The other stuff that some would claim to be bloatware is the power management software (a true godsend for eeking out xtra hrs) and the webcam app (the freebie version has

Clearly none of you are college students. My roommates and I order everything on Prime. Some of my favorite examples:

you sound like a fucking loser

It is nice that we have moved the evening argument over "what to watch" to the new variant "what to watch it on". PlayStation, Xbox, Wii, Roku, Chrome, Apple TV, Samsung TV, Mac, Windows machine, iPad, iPhone, Android tablet / phone, various assortments of Blu-Ray players ....

I don't think Dropbox provides that metric. Maybe you could use a url shortener to track how many times it's accessed. I know that http://goo.gl provides stats like total clicks, browser and OS type, country, and referer data.

That's what I thought at first too, but there is a link to an app in the Google Play store on the product page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/det… I was able to install the app on my Moto X, but I have no idea if it actually works with the switch.

I went really DIY for my standing desk, and for a relatively low cost. All you need is two sets of metal sawhorse brackets, 4 2x4 sections cut to the same length for the legs, two shorter 2x4 sections with a length the same width as the tabletop, and a tabletop. Sawhorse brackets are about 7 dollars for a set (2,

Anything Macgyver or survival related. Too many posts to narrow it down to just one. I've been coming here for several years now, I forget what originally drew me in. I think I may have seen a link back to an article here from another site, and then I started poking around on other posts, then I sort of just got

whoever mentioned AUTOHOTKEY in front of me the first time has my undying gratitude and the knowledge that I can't physically mistype the word "the" because of them...bless you kind stranger...

My favorite all-time tip isn't really just one tip— It was being introduced to Autohotkey and all the tips that came after, all the ways I found (and am findIng) to make Windows tap-dance my way.

I love the concept of these but I just can't figure out how I would actually need one. We live in a condo with central heating and air. We make coffee with a french press and heat the water on the gas range. Our light switches are already awesome dimmers that I wouldn't want to change. We don't have any other major

I weep a little every time I see someone highlight text, find the edit menu, copy, then click where they want it, find the edit menu again, and paste.
