The other thing you have to watch out for with ontrac is they'll load a van and then let it sit in their parking lot for a couple of days, especially over weekends when they don't deliver. Its about 100 degrees here in the summer, and I got lots and lots of food items that were basically cooked or melted due to

Doesn't matter whose fault it was. You pay Amazon for 2 day shipping and it's up to them to contract with delivery services that can meet that and cover the cost of upset customers when it doesn't.

Forgot to mention, for the streaming, since I have a PS3, I'm able to use the Amazon Video app, and watch it on my TV easily, so that helps make the case for me.

I mainly subscribed to Amazon Prime for the near-instant gratification of free 2 day shipping with every direct from Amazon purchase.

I also think it would have helped had they chosen four new characters, rather than trying to have four new actors play the same four characters from the movie.

I think one of the good things about Amazon Prime is that you can share it. So my wife and my parents have their own Amazon accounts that tie to my prime account and they get free shipping as well. So it's not just my purchases, it's all of our purchases that save.

I did 6 and I'm all maxed out... Do 6 trust me :)

Wow, how did the "Every imaginable distro of linux, Win7 installation, UBCD, DBAN, etc" flash drive not only not win, but not even place.

I don't want to take away from the winner, but what's the merit of it?

Come on Amazon, I'm counting on your streaming video service to be added to this list in the near future.

Amazon Prime will be the clincher for me. I'll buy one for every TV in the house then.

If anyone was interested, I quickly jotted down how to set a generic drive up to the same level I had set up mine. Nothing overly in detail but a general quick what order to set things up in.

Reader's guide for young people: the lead photo is a sort of visual pun based on a famous ad for audio recording tape. In the late '70s and '80s Maxell ran a series of ads stating that Maxell tape would still "blow you away" even after 500 plays. You see kids, back in the day people would copy their vinyl LPs to tape

Only partly sunny in Philadelphia

Haha I seriously doubt it.

I go old school sneaker-net with mine. I also collect old 1-2GB flash drives from people who would be tossing them anyways and use these to give files to friends and relatives (pics, music, etc.), because I don't care if I ever get them back. I like to use one to float around different parents in my son's class and

Create the Swiss-Army Knife of Flashdrives

I modified a USB controller to include a USB Flash Drive and a USB hub hardwired inside. This allows for the controller to act as a plug-and-play emulator. It auto launches a Sega Genesis Emulator when it is plugged into a Windows PC and has a handful of ROMs that you can bring on the go. You can read about the
