I have copious amounts of these laying around so I filled them with several tools, virus cleaners, anti-malware apps and specifically TeamViewer portable. I then sent them to my out-of-town family and friends who often ask for help with their computers. Now when they call, all I ask them to do is insert the USB

Great, thanks alot. How can you do this to me? Why would you point me to another site where I can buy quality items at cheap prices. I might as well just mail them my paycheck.

wow, people do have a bunch of "old" smartphones, tablets, etc. I bet some of them are even so old as far back as 2011/2012.

I use my LG G2x as a development device and help the community who still uses it to develop the ICS and JB roms that LG never released. (Fuck you LG!)

I use my old dumb phone as a threat to my children. If they act up I say I'll take away their smart phones and make them use the dumb phone. Does that count as a hack? If so I should win.

Just using it as a media center (OpenELEC) but my father in-law made me this awesome wood case.

Have the ductwork in your house cleaned before you move in, and change the furnace filter. Makes a big difference, especially if you have allergies or asthma.

This is excellent advice.

Next time I move I am painting the garage interior before I fill it with junk. A few years ago I realized how much I dislike unpainted drywall, and that there is no reason not to paint the garage. I've never seen one painted, but I mentioned this once before and one person said they had done it.

Things I did the last time I owned a house:

If you can swing it try moving in a week after you close and take that time to paint and clean before you move all your stuff in - made a huge difference as I was able to steam clean the carpets, paint and put down some floor tile sealer before all my junk showed up.

If you bought the house with the existing appliances and don't plan to replace them anytime soon, Google the manuals (save the .pdf) and if your utility company offers some kind of "worry-free" insurance/service type thing, GET THAT. I have that for the following: washer, dryer, hot-water heater, furnace, A/C units,

My old droid is my alarm clock and Roku remote.
