And I can’t tell you how many times as a young gay kid watching shoes that affirmed me to a huge audience made my seem less pointless, I would imagine there are young trans kids out there that feel the same right now.

It’s fair to point out that nearly all of those are terrible movies, which is what’s frustrating about this - it’s a critically well received movie, with genuinely popular/”famous” actors in it.
