I’ve got a 2006 scion xa and I can do this, which is incredibly handy for warming it up in the winter in the driveway without it being easily boosted( I know I shouldn’t do this, but it’s not going to shift until it warms and I’m not sitting inside of it and freezing my ass off in the subzero waiting).

YES. I feel your pain. I had a classmate once tell me that I looked like I needed to eat a sandwich and I was just devastated. I was thinking too that I have no problem asking everyone and their mom for a tampon, because I am all out of shits to give about feeling ashamed or self conscious or whatever, younger me probably would have been too embarrassed to go begging other women.
