As an American, I always make sure I learn how to say "Don't shoot, I'm Canadian!" in the native tongue.

Sorry, but I use them regularly and LED lit towers are an issue acknowledged by the FAA. Dim lights may be visible in unlit areas but try picking them out in a city. Pure bunk? Do some research.

I agree with weighing how hard it is to attain vs how hard it is to retain. It seems foolish to put in a lot of effort only to let it lapse because of fairly minimal recert requirements—unless you're absolutely not going to use it...ever.

I don't have a source but I can tell you from experience that there are towers with red and white LED lighting systems that are all but invisible when using NVGs. My understanding was that LED put out in the blue frequencies regardless of color but I can't swear to that.

I don't have a source at hand, but the NVGs filter out some light in the blue range and apparently LEDs emit in that frequency range, regardless of the color. If you shine a regular LED flashlight at someone wearing the NVGs you'll see a very dim light area. If you were in the wilderness with no other lights around

I guarantee that I use NVGs regularly.

Interesting tidbit regarding flashlights. An air crew cannot see an LED light when they're under night vision goggles.

Opt out of Amazon Prime and you'll have $99 to spend on videos.

I'll seconds that one. I do 20 as my standard and 30%+ for above average service.

Ah. For some reason I thought this was for other file types.

I'm confused. Why would you send someone a file that self-destructs? Is it just documents were talking about or what?

Does it actually save space or is it just neater?

Just go through and ditch or sell anything you haven't used in the past year.

If the player's core temperature (the most accurate measurement is rectal) rises to 104 degrees or higher, it's considered a medical emergency.

Is there already a root available for this release?

"Travel Itch" sounds like something you might come home with. :-)

If you do a lot of swimming, then get some ear drops designed to help remove water or use earplugs. If it's a one-time swimming event, you're probably at pretty low risk of developing swimmer's ear unless you're in some particularly nasty water.

The Aqua Notes are a great idea. I actually keep a dive slate in my shower for brainstorms but these would probably be a put easier to use.

There are a lot more ways to remove ticks that are better than the tweezers method. The emergency department I work in got the lasso style removers this year and it's become my preferred method. Even bought a couple for the house. I live in a rural area and can pretty much guarantee a tick or seven every time I walk
