I love all things tech, but there is nothing has supplanted pen and paper. Cheap, fast, portable, scaleable and flexible there's just nothing out there that comes close. Call me when they make an app where I can make notes and doodles in the margins of handouts!

I have a CR-Z as well. I tuck stuff around the spare and if you get rid of the round piece of styrofoam that sits in the spare you'll gain some extra storage space. Combined with the two depressions behind the front seat I find I have more than enough space to carry those "just in case" items.

The paint will probably crack and chip and if it's petroleum-based it might degrade the plastic covering of the cable.

I will often use a black sharpie on those. It dims the LED down, but you can still see it if you need to.

I installed it. It looks very nice, but when I tried to change the alarm tone, it says that's a premium feature requiring an in app purchase. Really? In app purchases on a f-ing alarm clock?!? Uninstalled.

I agree. While there's no way to become indispensable you can make sure that you're part of the "good" 20% (using the 80/20 rule)

I use Feedly on my laptop but found the android app to be a bit buggy. It would sometimes fail to load articles, requiring me to exit the program and restart it at which point the article would be there.

As someone who lives 40 minutes from the nearest "real" store, I find my prime membership to be hugely valuable in that I'm saving gas money and my time. I also love the fact that I don't need to create a shopping list. Think of it, order it. Done.

My 2010 Honda has OEM nav and it is less than optimal. It's DVD-based and the updates are the price of a standalone unit. On top of that the maps are sub par and seem outdated. On a trip to Albany it sent me through a city because the highway (which wasn't new btw) was missing in the nav.

I'm hesitant to use any new encryption program. I'd hate to look for a file that has been on sitting in my dropbox for 6 months only to find that the encryption service I used is no longer available. Truecrypt may not be the simplest, but chances are it's not going to disappear overnight.

Off topic, but is anyone else really tired of the played-out, super fast whiteboard drawing videos? I've gotten so I cringe when I see them.
