@burninfidels: It's benifited me fine so far. Best part is when I got my new laptop, I was millions of miles away from home. I was glad I could just log into steam and download the game right then and there withouth the need for a cd. Most modern PC games are coming out on the platform anyway.

Usually, if it ain't on Steam, I don't get it. The first non-steam game I've purchased in over 5 years has been Starcraft II. And I waited until just last week to get it. I wish it was on Steam.

DAMNIT! I use to be all for updates until I got stationed out in Afghanistan. My network is so slow, i'm still downloading the first update (4 days so far of consistant download speed) I'm never going to be able to play this game
