It's kind of like Disney Infinity and how everyone online is like "its a Skylanders clone". Ya so... it's a Skylanders clone (money making machine) coupled with Disney's IP's (also money making machine). Business is about finding markets you're not reaching and I'm sure Nintendo has research that shows parents of

Why would Nintendo mothball a HUGELY successful console to compete with one that is just now barely... tepidly... starting to find it's legs... in Japan...

It would be better if it wasn't a parody account...

Im sure it would work but that puzzle was annoying as hell already even with the prompts. It's just kind of funny, although the people who will be buying the 2DS I doubt will ever play Phantom Hourglass.

Not sure but there is a puzzle where you're working with a torch (I think) and have to put it out and the way to snuff it out is to close the DS.

The thing is according to Nintendo nobody who can actually use the Internet is the intended audience of the 2DS. It is meant for five year olds after all... or more specifically parents of five year olds who were scared off by the potential dangers of 3D.

The 2DS is aimed at 5-6 year olds according to Reggie. Hence why it looks so much more like one of those childrens handhelds they sell at Toys-R-Us.

Exactly this is not designed to compete with the 3DS in the slightest. It's designed to compete with those kids handhelds by like Bandai and such.

I really hope the reason has something to do with the launch line up as any other reason would be kind of dumb...

Can't we all just get back to talking about Twerking?

a $100.00 price advantage and a massive good will gap. Also 1,000,000 pre-orders seems to say otherwise.

Honestly if this is what Microsoft has up their sleeves I'd be worried lol.

Damn lucky American's here in Ontario it's minimum 2 bucks for a cold one... seriously we have a minimum price on Beer...

I feel really sorry for anyone releasing a MMO these days the launches always seem to have major issues. Hell not even MMO's just persistent online games like SimCity or Diablo 3.

I played the demake alot it was actually quite a bit of fun.

Oh ya I keep forgetting Phantom Pain (I love the name) and I will be getting it too. I'm actually working through some old HD Collections and the Metal Gear HD Set with my first playthrough of 4 is going on. Although Rising was really my cup of tea. I hope Platinum makes another and Konami keeps up MGS (also ZoE 3

I saw that and I was like "Oh looks like Wind Waker interested".

I've never actually played the Kingdom Hearts PS2 titles (I'm getting the Remix collection next month) however I did enjoy Dream Drop Distance alot so once more information comes out from Square that might do it.

No it didn't... so...

This game is Free to Play. Games part of a "Killer App" franchise tend not to go Free to Play. If you can sell a LBP game for 60 bucks you'll sell it for 60 bucks but that's not the direction they went in...
