I agree I hate the fact that you can run far enough for enemies to just forget about you... that should not happen...

Tales of Graces F (NA) - 230,000
I'm having a blast with it, and I probably haven't unlocked all the systems yet. I can't wait for the high ougi's whatever they're called in this game. Although linked artes are pretty damn fun.
One of the things I've always been worried about with the increasing power of the consoles is that so much will go into graphics and making photo realistic worlds that some smaller but equally important things get forgotten.
I did it still doesn't really make alot of sense. Anime style RPG's are just a small segment of RPG's actually and even in Japan they are relativly niche. I think the FPS comparison is rather dumb as military shooters, Sci Fi Shooters, or really anything out of Epic as all has there aesthetic differences but so does…
It's a combination of Graces F and Vesperia. It has a TP system (Mana) like Tales of Vesperia/Abyss however it also has a AC Point system like Graces F. Unlike Vesperia where it was insanly easy to run out of TP here you can do that but after a few regular hits its back to about 1/3 full so you can pull off Arte's…
They don't for one... just look at two JRPG's coming out TODAY Tales of Xillia and Dragon's Crown they couldn't look any more different... then expand it to Final Fantasy with there high res CGI or the Soul's series more gritty flavour you see MASSIVE differences in JRPG's.
Okay as I was reading this and making comment's I left my game running and I suddenly just heard Jude "Got to admit sometimes its fun just spacing out a little bit".
Jude is a brawler that uses Gauntlets, Mila is a Mystic Sword type.
It didn't do poorly it was just Namco's old executives insane expectations for a niche JRPG that made them think it did poorly. Vesperia sold 280,000 copies (NA) which was a "failure" while Graces F sold 250,000 copies (NA) four years later which was a "success" what was the difference? Expectations Namco finally…
Does this mean there is no cooking in the game? That's kind of disappointing...
I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei IV and man that game is a challenge. Also once you get to Tokyo it's literally like being thrown out into the wilderness with the instructions "find this person" nothing else to go on. Although I must say I've been avoiding the help book as much as I can. I did the same with…
With some trade in's I got my Vita for 125.00 plus a free memory card. The system is great also those Japanese development support is great although it could use localization support as well... Namco looking at you...
Totally true the difference between some games on the 3DS is stagaring. I mean compare Kingdom Hearts 3D which not only blows any other Kingdom Hearts game available right now out of the water but most 3DS games as well, then look at say Tales of the Abyss and you can see straight up port.
I agree it's just kinda funny with each game people complain about them over sexualizing her too. I mean last game when she had her Valkyrie get up on the cover people were saying she was too sexualized because of her thigh. I guess the Director just said if they'll complain about that lets go all out and give them…
Ummm... Mangaka don't have "anime deadlines" they have manga deadlines. As in they need the storyboard to the editor by a specific day each week so the manga can be printed in the magazine. No mangaka ever follows an anime makes deadline.
I make the argument manga is not like comic books its like limited short run stories or serialized novels like Batman Year One or The Dark Knight Returns. They are self contained stories that have a liner progression and continuity that cant just be rectconned or changed like X-Men did a few years back when too many…
Because that's not how they do manga in Japan. Manga is considered a form of art whereas comic books are just mass produced popular fiction. Two very different things, also over at Shonen Jump the Mangaka and Editor relationship is very important to the manga other magazines have similar workings. Hell there was an…
Beyond that take a look at 1:22 of the video. See how somebody at Square Enix may have a problem with that oh I don't know... the actual Main Character Animator for example.
The thing about Intelectual Property right protection is you need to make an example of even the most well intentioned. You can't go around diluting your IP's if you want to use them in the future and Square Enix is famous for using all their IP's to make a buck.
