I love the summer mostly due to the fact almost all "Triple A" games come out starting mid to late September it gives publishers an opening to debut games that may not get the multimillion sales but certainly deserve a launch window. The summer is also especially good for JRPG's I mean in a four week period we're

I'm not saying Gears of War doesn't have great graphics. However Crytek a company most famed for pushing the boundaries on graphical fidelity is making this game and to me it looks like Gears of War with slightly better lighting effects and draw distance hardly a shining example of next Gen prowess that you'd expect

The trailer I remember of Ryse the graphics didn't impress me at all it looked like Gears of War slightly improved in terms of graphics and now learning this is coming from Crytek wow... Sadly graphics were the highlight of that demo as the gameplay looked quicktime event to win. Now it seems its QTE and button

I'm replaying VIII YEARS after it came out and Squall still pisses the hell out of me.

You realize the same barrier to you finishing this game will be present in the HD Version right? He'll just be even more pretty...

In this case it was a total re texturing of the entire game hence why it's taken so long to come out. Also the character models have been remade so they don't look so lanky and blocky in battle and movement.

I'm worried about that too. If Square really want's to get some brownie points it'll do a cross by promotion or something. Like buy the PS3 version in the first two weeks of launch and get the Vita versions included. I doubt they'll go full on Cross Buy but that would be a nice move.

To me this looks like one of the more thorough HD remasters around. I can really see the care they put into doing this. I share your hopes and fears about the Vita version. I think playing it on an HDTV will be great but as I get used to playing old JRPG's on my Vita (going through FF VIII right now) I find the

I love Johnny Walker, Green (if you can find it is a rare treat) although Blue and Gold still remain tops. Black is good for relaxation. Although if you drink Red I pity you.

That's definitely not the case any more especially with Tempests. A +3 Tempest does 90 damage per shot to a Colosi. 6 of them can one shot any massive unit.

Nah my city got hit hard by a huge thunderstorm and I was without power for 7 hours...

A cool Starcraft post on Kotaku nice work. I love it when Starcraft can get some love. Although that PvP match showed exactly why I loath PvP (Diamond Protoss) as it can be such an coin flip sometimes.

Sure no problem I've never actually used this site before so I'm not sure how it'll work but once I finish this I'll let you know.

I'm getting Origin right now for the sole purpose of buying that game.

The physical copy is worth the $2 dollars I'd say.

I was at my parents place so I had my Vita and 3DS and played FF VIII and for my 3DS Etrain Odyssey IV.

I remember that honestly the concept of Level in the anime has only be referenced a few times and it seems to be on very shakey ground to begin with.

A good game is to make an Ash Ketchum dream team and how powerful he would be if he were a game traner lets call him Red.... My ideal Ash Team even without evolution...

He stopped giving away his Pokemon he does have a bad habit of using under leveled Pokemon though...

For me as long as we never see Cilan and Iris again it will be too soon... ugh worst characters ever even by children's television standards. Why did Brock have to leave...

Glad to see more characters from previous games popping up here and there. One thing I always though FF XIII-2 was lacking was good use of the previous games main characters.
