A lot can be crap true but many can improve already great games. The Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition texture mod comes to mind. Also there are too many Skyrim mods to count which just make that game look and play better.

You realize "real money" works on the same principal as this right? All money is based on belief. This whole thing was a gold mine for Economics professionals. Honestly beef can feed you and keep you alive but you trade paper for it. Why? You expect it to have value. Same thing applies here.

The Team Liquid Forum's are the nexus for almost all major English Starcraft dialogue. Seriously Team Liquid is well beyond a mere forum. Insulting fans on team liquid is akin in the Starcraft community to going on SportsNet or ESPN and giving a finger to your sports most die hard fans.
