I'm well aware of the different types of helmet; hero, stunt and the couple of other minor variations. My point was that regardless of which one of those was involved in an accident, it wouldn't protect you from the kind of impact Angryrider was questioning. Even the toughest of typical stunt helmets.
They're really not. Kamen Rider, Sentai etc helmets are usually made of thin fiberglass. The only padding inside is a very small, thin amount of foam (usually at the top, back and sometimes chin) to keep it tight to your head.

She did a little more than that, but not much. Leslie Swan voiced Peach in SM64 (and re-recorded lines in the DS remake), MK64 and Super Paper Mario. (Random trivia: she's also the voice of Mona in the Wario Ware games.)
