The director’s cut taught me just how important musical choices are to a film. I’ve never seen another director’s cut that felt the need to change them. It made for a total shift in tone - made the scenes just feel...wrong.

The Director’s Cut is often criticized for stripping the film of a lot of ambiguity, and otherwise messing with it’s tempo.
I haven’t cared much for the art in any of the recent Batman animated movies, it’s not half as distinctive as the art in TAS. I would’ve been fine if they’d just used Paul Dini’s art style for Killing Joke instead of trying to approximate the book’s art.
I have that version, I loved Whelan’s illustrations, especially the one with the aftermath of Tull.
I was actually hoping Fran Kranz would be Eddie, when I saw his name next to “The Dark Tower”.
Also my favourite book, that and The Wastelands. Weirdly enough, I read Drawing first because I was a kid, just getting into King and they had that at the library but not the first book, so I kind of came at it knowing as little about Roland as Eddie and the others did. I don’t think I’d ever change that.
I suppose. On one hand there’s a lot going on PRIOR to the start of the first book, such as all the Father Callahan/Sombra stuff.
There’s been a long, long comics series by Marvel too which has kind of done everything in chronological order with a fair bit of padding. It’s definitely a story that’s easier to expand…
I’m wondering if they’re going to try and weave some of these end elements into the beginning, but we still get something which is at least 50% The Gunslinger.
Well then you need to read the ROM and the Micronauts books from the 80's then.
Actually Journal of Quantum Physics had two articles, one for and one against. The issue picks one when you first look at the table of contents.
Exactly. Why not use some of those quality American actors, like the dude from House, or that guy from Homeland?
He was a damn good Dirk Gently
All I know is it won’t be Stephen Mangan, which is quite disappointing.
I would imagine that you’d have no trouble picking it up, but I urge you to read it. It’s PRIME Ennis.
Jigsaw was the dead body in Saw?! Spoiler alert!
Are you thinking rasp or straw?
I remember that I loved the first issue of Karnak, but had since forgotten it existed.
I think they just should have started by killing off Bruce and making it a Flashpoint universe with the end goal of the show to have Thomas Wayne reset the universe so that Bruce lives.
Does this tell me where The Doctor hid Skaro?
A U.S. pegasus bladder is smaller than an imperial measurement pegasus bladder though, adding further confusion.
