I am currently re-reading the Star Wars EU Novels Post Jedi. In about a month I have read the first 7 X Wing Books, Courtship of Princess Leia, Tatooine Ghost, and am now on the 3rd Thrawn book.

I find your lack of Thrawn disturbing.

It's funny that you mentioned Titanic because Janos Slynt reminded me of that despicable man who was pushing old people, women, and children out of the way so that he could get on a life boat. They both need to die horrible deaths. A giant's arrow would do nicely. Or that scythe on the wall. That was also awesome!

With the various Samwell/Samwise overlaps, I saw the mammoths and just thought "Look, Mr. Frodo. They have Oliphaults!"

Now playing

Still less questionable than Kiss Players.

The Man from Earth is usually my go-to movie to fall asleep to but I always end up finishing it. Then I switch to David Attenborough's Blue Planet and i'm out like a light. Voice of God, i tell yah, that man has the voice of god.

"To get to first base quickly, tell a lady about how hot you are for her mother before going in for the move"

Halo is dead. Also I just remembered that in 3 years Halo 3 will have it's 10th anniversary... can't believe it's been this long already...

They took this:

The artstyle seemed familiar so I checked it out and yup, he's the guy who drew the awesome alt-Zatanna. Like the above Wonder Woman pic, she looks badass and sexy, without looking like she's going to spend her free time swinging around a pole (basically a pair or trousers, a blouse and a waistcoat).

o-o make them slidey like car seats... can i has designprize?

Hickey told "Talking Points Memo" that he was "a little sore" and kind of bummed...

You mean this one?

Forever shall I be dumbstruck by the majesty that is Halo.

Everyone knows this next season of Parks and Rec will be terrible. The whole thing is just going to turn into a huge commercial for the incredibly popular Cones of Dunshire game. They are already planning the season opening with the release of the Maverick Expansion cones.

I was between this and Marvels but this takes the cake. Love the premise, love the literal deux ex machina finale, the psychological thriller aspect of it (I found the Thor storyline reminiscent of 12 Monkeys).

Smart, entertaining, and even a subtle critique on the cliches of big comic book 'event' stories.
