No, really. Stay with me for a minute. There is so much contradiction with the original trilogy that it can't possibly be canon and if you look at it as fan fic, it's pretty good fan fic.

I have too say I think Into Darkness is a lot smarter than most people give it credit for and it seems most people have missed what it is really about.
