Waterworld 4: The Watering
Tina Fey
They made more moral sense than the Clone army. It would have been less objectionable for the Republic to make their own battle droids. But Lucas had to shoehorn the clones in there for the Clone wars, ignoring the gross moral implications.
I consider any Craig Ferguson skits with the TARDIS to be canon.
I want this guy to be the Doctor.
I really like this show. I am caught up with Season 2 right now. I think it's one of the best Sci-fi shows that are currently on TV.
Lack of friction, not lack of gravity, is what makes the difference in the vacuum of space. Orbital momentum being achieved by means of chemical rockets, ions engine are just a clever way to add a continuous acceleration without the exponential weight required by rocket fuel. A shortcut, not a power booster.
When I first was exposed to the concept and image of an ion engine, I realized that to get any serious thrust, you would need a huge bank of them. And that it would end up looking like: the back-end of the Falcon!
They were routinely used by the USSR for satellite stationkeeping starting in the late 60s or early 70s. Afaik there is a fundamental property of ion thrusters which mean they will never exist in the high thrust, scifi sense of launching an x-wing off the ground. More thrust requires more voltage and more voltage…
I refuse to believe that I'm only here because I popped out of your imagina...
James Bond will return, in "Octoraker".
Yeah. But bigger, right? His cameo was pretty awesome in TDK. More Fitchner is always better.
The solution isn't always to go in guns blazing and kill everybody. Sometimes it's to hit them with cue sticks and throw them through windows.
I have the same criticism. I don't like Caviezel's character at all, and I really don't understand why the answer to dealing with the bad guys is always to go in guns blazing and kill all of them. That seems to be the opposite of sensible, let alone ethical, and an unnecessary level of violence for TV.
NISM?
But what about the rainbows in our water supply???
No, he is simply there whenever something relevant in history is about to happen.
I think the pants should have been kept for Nu52/be kept for a movie, but that skirt photo shows how it could work. YMMV, though.
