@hawkeye18: Maybe the urea level sensor could be fooled, but I think the ECU also receives feedback from the closed loop NOx sensors, which are not so easy to bypass.

@MustangChris429: I think that the engine ECU is programmed to cut the boost pressure when it detects an empty urea tank, and enter into limp mode. That way the owner is forced to refill.

@evoCS: The NASA Dryden website ( [www.nasa.gov] ) has a great archive of high resolution SR-71 photos. Just do a search for SR-71 in the home page-and be prepared to spend a lot of time drooling over the pics. I know I did.
