The Renault Grand Scenic. A spin-off of the original Espace idea, totally pointless, and so transparent you could actually walk through it and not notice

The SR-71 approves.

Can someone please explain to me what exactly they were trying to prove??

5.500$ for a soon-to-be-collector's item Mercedes Benz with an engine tuned by Cosworth?? Nice Price, even if that means tearing the car apart and rebulding it from the ground up. Actually, I would be more than glad to take up that particular chore.

Thumbs up for the Aardvark

My love for closed deck cylinder blocks just grows stronger with time.

I sense that we have a very strange case of bastardisation in our hands...or a very clear case of Crack Pipe.

@Bueller: The best movie car chase. Ever.

That should tech the cheapskate in #6 to run different types of tyres on his front and rear wheels...Seriously now, these images make me feel so sad.

Can somebody explain me what is going on in the main article picture??

Is that an aftermarket pressure gauge on the fuel rail??? WTF?? Still, the car looks gorgeous. Nice Price.

Impressive, but I would still go for the Sled...

@Rupunzell: As Ben Rich very well put it: "That damned Swede could see air"...

Save the car. Kill the rims. Nice Price. I know I should vote for CP, but I just can't.

The Smart was an extremely "smart" idea, at least for Europe. But it is a '90s car, developed and made using '90s technology, and it is starting to show. In my opinion, the Toyota iQ is the most sucessful incarnation of the idea that Smart introduced back in 1998.

Simply excellent. Jalopnik gentlemen, may you live for a thousand years.

I think a mid-engine conversion would have made much more sense for the Baja V8, if there is any sense to be made out of a V8 Beetle.

@f0rge: I totally agree.
