So - in the end... they teased killing him in the show and what they did instead was take him out of the show temporarily so he has time for a sidequest movie trilogy - and probably get back into the show, should it survive long enough.

It was better than it’s been in quite a while, but there were still some baffling character moments. If they had to move the wagon across the glass floor, why not move it last? Or at least not carry the rest of their haul across the full length of the floor when they could just pass it over the railing or quickly…
