I've seen egg shells added to coffee grounds to make the coffee less bitter. Now I wonder if it would add calcium too. Even if it did, I doubt the amount of calcium added would be enough to make a difference.

She's 8. Kids get stressed and have bad days just like anyone else. The difference is that they don't have coping skills to deal with it, or experience in hiding it. So they act out, throw tantrums, and generally become little monsters. Unfortunately, hitting and biting can be a part of that. You can't hold a…
Plus you would wind up having to eat at the Weenie Hut Jr.
Ah, thank you. I imagine that could become an issue again if someone tried to put a woman on the throne now. Especially with how the show has gone to extraordinary lengths to show that women are one step below the livestock when it comes to value.
This may be the vaguest spoiler of a tiny conversation in the books, because I can't remember if it was mentioned in the books, or at some point in the show. I haven't read the books in a very long time.
That was my thought too. It looks and sounds like someone tried to make a home made fan trailer. I couldn't even watch the whole thing.
I'd donate real blood to read a True Blood fanfic by Meredith.
Some of these are so amazing and beautiful! I think they would be so cool to be able to live in one of them. Then I see something like the fire tower converted into a home, and think that at some point, you'd have to buy groceries, and haul them up those stairs. No thanks. I'll pass.
When Daryl killed the walker in the country club, he smashed it and blood and brains got all over Beth's sweater. She took it off and went in search of a drink.
The Walking Dead has taught me that if anyone ever tells me "Welcome to such&such" I should run away immediately. "Welcome to the CDC building." "Welcome to Woodbury." "Welcome to Terminus." Heck, one guy even told Rick "Welcome to the city" after they were trapped in that department store, if I remember right. …
What do you mean?
This falls under that 'fake geek girl' thing. You aren't a big enough fan unless you read all of XYZ and see the shows then read the works that inspired that and have you seen the graphic novels yet?
I admit, I disagree with the listing of Snuffy. I'll give you a pass, though, because of Elmo. I hate Elmo. I hate Elmo to the point where it is unreasonable. I can't even fully articulate the depth of my loathing for that little bastard.
I really loved this!
I think that Daryl's treatment of Beth - the manhandling, shouting at her, generally being an asshole - was sadly somewhat true to the character. From what we have heard about Daryl's upbringing, he was neglected at best. Other times he was beaten, whipped, and verbally abused by his father and Merle. So when he…
Agreed. The plot wasn't moved forward, but I think the character development was amazing. Beth went from being that emotionally shut off girl we saw in the prison who refused to cry even when her boyfriend died, and allowed herself to care and offer emotional support to Daryl. Daryl went from being the guy who was…
It sounds as if the movie was reasonable true to the book. The books started off okay, as a cute story to pass the time when you don't want something too difficult to follow. The deeper in the series you go, the more 'meh' the books become.
I can't be the only one to think of My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
I thought the first Odd book was well done. The second was okay. After that, they just kept going downhill. The last one I read (something about a cult in a barn and time traveling scientists and he had to save a kid or something) just completely jumped the shark. So hopefully this movie is good, but not good…
