This was my first thought too. A lot of people seem to be put off since it was written by King and they just assume it is straight up horror.

When the witch hunting husband starting shooting up the neighbors, my first thought was "Is he really THAT drunk?" Then I realized that maybe it is a part of a devious plan. Nan - the clairvoyant mind reader - was in that house. If I was going to try and take out a coven of powerful witches who already sort of hate…
This episode just did not feel like it belonged with the others. It was confusing and weird. I guess the Governor didn't need a whole lot of reasons to do the crazy things he did because crazy is an excuse all on its own. But killing Martinez to avoid having to be the leader, then stepping in to be the leader…
Plus in the pic it looks like there will be a shallow pool of water at the bottom of the descent. I don't know... it would still be a coin toss on if I decided to ride it or not. Then again, my last words will probably be "Hey, watch this." So yeah, I would probably go on it.
I was thinking that I would go down in it a raft until I saw that hill after the descent. That seems like it would just be a launch ramp.
It would be better if we discovered Zuzu was possessed by Pazuzu. On Christmas Eve she could slaughter her whole family. Probably because she was forced to watch another crappy remake.
There was so much glorious crazy in this episode that you failed to mention the girls torturing Spaulding in the attic with the spatula. It is like they are taking plot lines from a demented game of Clue.
It seems like TWD must have at least one annoying child in the show. For the longest time it was Carl. Now that Carl is growing up a little, and trying to be more responsible, we have Lizzie. What was she planning on doing with that walker anyway? She was calling it like a dog, then said that it didn't bite Glenn…
I am thinking of it more as that lip biting thread. Badassery works too tho.
Use the 'insert image' option. Then make a sacrifice to the kinja gods.
I blame this movie for my dwarf fetish.
Has anyone else noticed that Lizzy seems to be fine? Everyone else in the quarantine area is sweaty, grey faced, weak, and coughing. While she and Carol were talking, Lizzie looked to be in good health. I think that kid has more than one mental issue, and now that Carol is gone, those issues might come to light.
I feel like AHS could be sending a powerful message with the theme of racial intolerance. It could do a lot without having to show graphic violence, even if it showed the reactions to the violence. The show just seems to miss the mark tho. It feels like they are more interested in using it as a shock value, instead…
You forgot what may be the best reason to love Halloween: This is the one day out of the year that I get to scare the hell out of the neighborhood kids without their parents yelling at me.
I probably would have included Dig Up Her Bones by The Misfits, instead of Halloween. Just a matter of personal preference, however. Nice list!
Eh, they are dwarves. I guess since they are used to climbing around inside a mountain, they can get off a large rock.
They have been showing The Hobbit a lot on HBO. At the end, where Bilbo is standing on the rock, with Thorin, Fili and Kili around him, and he says he thinks the worst is behind them.... man. Every time, my heart breaks just a little bit. Then I think of what the reaction will be on the internet, and get over it.
What bothered me more is that a doctor made absolutely no attempt to cover his mouth and hacked a mouthful of blood on Herschel.
