Take food. A casserole or dish they can heat up for an easy meal would be great. You won't even have to have a long conversation about it. Drop off the dish, tell them they are in your thoughts, and offer to lend a hand if they need some help.

I haven't seen the movie or read those books - I hated Twilight - but I have heard all about them. If you are talking about a BDSM party, have you tried checking out the FetLife site? Find a munch or two in your area, meet some people, and you can wind up at some very interesting parties. At the least you may find

How is it your fault you both slept too long? Is he unable to set an alarm himself?

@raccoonsrock won't say it, but I will. You need therapy. I am speaking as the survivor of a horribly abusive (emotionally and physically) marriage. Therapy can help.

I am the same way. I can watch torture porn all day long and it won't faze me much. If I see an animal get hurt tho, oh hell no!

I named her Shelby. The awesome part is we have a Shelby way back on the family tree, so the older generation is thrilled that I stuck with a classic family name. I didn't have the heart to break it to them that I had no idea we had a previous Shelby!

I am happy about this! I am wondering what his sentence will be tho.

If you can find a diet that will cure my endo, then by all means send me a link. I have taken homeopathic steps to help it some, but it isn't a cure-all, and hormonal birth control does work.

'Sophie's Choice' in honor of Meryl Streep's birthday.

Have you just asked him if anything is going on? Maybe something stressful is happening in his life and he is acting before thinking. I know when my bestie starts acting like a jerk I call him on it.

Slightly off topic: I had a male doctor tell me that my horrible cramps, nausea, and occasional fever each month with my period were, and I quote, all in my mind. I went to another doctor and it turns out I have endometriosis. I haven't been back to a male OB/GYN since.

Actually birth control is used for more than just recreation. Check your facts.

I went to a museum to see an exhibit of Michelangelo and they were having a show of Gorges De La Tour at the same time. I was blown away by the De La Tour stuff. It is hard to see on the computer or in a print, but his work is amazing with the way he painted the lighting, and the richness of the colors and shadows.

Good luck with the job! Also congrats on finding the sliding scale therapist. There are chat rooms and sites for moral support too, if you are interested in that sort of thing.

This would be fun! Or does anyone know any sites around with creepy stuff? Not like those videos that tell you to turn up the sound and watch close so they can do a gotcha thing, but something scary. Every time I try to find something like that, I wind up on the wrong end of YouTube and in the weird corner of the

That started like a negotiation for a consensual BDSM scene. The guy even stopped spanking him when he said the safe word to get out.

This, along with the videos posted in the comments section, made my day! Thank you!

I've stuck with Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Full of vampires, shapeshifters, and other bumps in the night, but definitely for the adults.

Yesterday I saw on the local news that a man went to the hospital (the same one my mom goes to, see rant below) in the ER. He took people hostage and it ended with him being fatally shot. It turns out he was on a lot of pain meds, could not get them refilled, and his family says he decided to suicide by cop.

Aw, video removed by user.
