Don’t like the job? Quit. Oh wait, you’re a salesman, nothing much else you can do but slime up any other legit you take. Being a forced middle man who needs a lobby to keep him employed.

This isn’t dueling. You don’t have to wait for the challenger to shoot the first shot. If a gun is pointed at an officer, he doesn’t have to see if he gets hit or missed before he returns fire. He has every right to fire the moment he is within any reasonable apprehension of imminent threat of severe bodily harm.

My mom turned me in to a gear head at an early age. She taught me the the basic 4 speed pattern on an old Datsun and had me shift for her while she did the clutch work. Got so in synch that I never needed her to tell me when to shift. Years later when I got my first 5 speed, the pattern was brutishly easy and I just

So its a rebodied mustang. Attempting a sneak attack at Cars & Coffee is he?

I just realized my 2011 MacBook Air is getting up in age. Never had a complaint with it but I fear the day something is going to happen.

Yay. We’re pounding sand because that’s been shown to be effective.

Fuck you.

There’s no coming back from owning a Buick, unless its some vintage black grand national.

*shrug* I have no idea why. Thankfully with the warranty in place, I just drop it off whenever there is an issue and I have a new loaner while they figure it out.

Nope. I do a lot of driving through mountain ranges/elevation changes though.

And the great thing about owning a Volvo that gets serviced at the Volvo dealership is getting new loaners every time its in for service. That, and they also own the Lamborghini dealership next door. Always enjoyable heading to service ;)

No. One transmission though. Several turbos, injectors, CAT, injectors, and a myriad of multiple things. There was the overheating thing which took a bunch of different things to fix, and the AC and seat electrics. I’m glad I didn’t have to front any of that cash beyond the deductible.

My Volvo disagrees. 2010 XC60 with 115,000 miles. I spent $2k for the extended warranty (additional 75,000 miles) $17,000 in repairs since I bought it used 40,000 miles ago.

No longer a car salesman? Thanks for returning to the human race.

Why was the officer’s lights on before he even attempted to cut in?

I’ve seen people get punted from the line and told to leave for being either 1. Being too smelly 2. Being flatulent during the pat-down. YMMV.

No. It is likely an offer. When courts look at it perspective of the totality of circumstances, and add a good dose of UCC it can be a firm offer. Look at the tenth circuit. They’ve recently held an email communication to be an intent to contract.

It’s kind of Princess Leia like.

Kristin, you somehow look different piloting that boat. The heavyset older man costume looks great. I wouldn’t recognize you!

I didn’t buy my XC60 look the part. It’s a practical winter commuter that does well in snow, carries a lot, and is incredibly comfortable. As a litigator, I frequently travel throughout the state. Having something that eats up miles comfortably helps. A lot.
