I wonder if Jalopnik would qualify as a Barn Find considering Gawker’s bankruptcy...

Freddy? Moving to Florida? You would LOVE Davie.

Yep. Mostly due to me being on a motorcycle under the influence of youth as a college freshman. Decided I could take a turn at way to fast of a speed. High sided and hit a curb, cracking my helmet and most every other bone in my body.

My family has banned me from ever riding again simply because I was in a coma for six weeks 22 years ago. Stupid caring people.

I drove the original for five years. It should have stayed dead. I love the ND body style and hate the plastic/Chrysler inspired look. Ugly stick indeed.

Hey, do you think that you might show us the Ugly Stick they used to turn the 2016 MX5 into that atrocity? That’d be something to see.

I think we found our Ram driver.

Here’s hoping you get what you deserve.

Got what he deserved? Seriously? Fuck you. I’m sure you have a lot in common with that truck driver - Under no circumstances should that sort of behavior provoke a life-threatening response.

The assumption with the ADA is that those falling under its purview would do the same as a normal able-bodied individual.

They’re not asking for a walk through drive through. They’re asking for some method where he can order. That’s not unreasonable. Note, “reasonable accommodations” have wound up costing companies thousands. My own driveway was an extra $700 to ensure ADA slope compliance.

Are you trying to kill them all???

Pinkslip: “There are a bunch of able-bodied people out there who do not have access to their own car and never will.” They conceivably could. I would wager far easier than a blind person to be sighted.

Then so be it. I’m scum. I’ve been called worse, and I embrace the fact that I’m an asshole. I, however, have a socially redeeming value to society. You? You’re a middleman peddling someone else’s wares, and your profession exists only because of constant lobbying.

Sarcasm aside. You had the ability somehow. The disabled person in question can certainly own a car, however, they haven’t the ability to drive one. Ever. You rose above your upbringing and purchased a car. He can never drive a car. No. Matter. What. You cannot compare your financial wherewithal to a physical

And I stick by that. Meet a car salesman who isn’t scum? You haven’t known them long enough.

I’m an attorney. I did the whole law school thing. I passed the bar. I can read a statute. Moreover, I’m well versed in arguments that pass muster in the court.

He falls under the ADA as it is by no fault or choice of his own, he is unable to drive. He lacks anything relating to choice. His suit is nothing more than him seeking a way for those disabled to have an option.

Prosecutor. I put bad people in jail. Yes.

The ADA doesn’t apply to able-bodied people who have not the funds, ability, of have lost their driver’s license. The assumption here would be he would have a license/car if he were sighted. Because of his disability, he does not, thus triggering ADA protections. I know its a stretch, but keep up.
