It’s not the old console games I’m worried about - look at the always online games. Once they’re dropped they’re gone. Not hard to access, or requiring an emulator - just straight up no longer extant. You can’t play Battleborn or Marvel Heroes anymore, not even on private servers.

Seriously what is it with male gamers (TM) and their hate of MJ and red haired women in gaming in general? It seems they have something new to complain about every day.

Not as much snug jeans as high-waisted jeans with straight, loose legs.

I clearly said that boba isn’t better, I said that it is better in terms of story pacing.

“it was sold as a sequel to rebels”

Overall quality? No.

Well, everytime I bring up something about this show in the comment on io9 I get a LOT of “well, you’d known this if you watched the animated series” kind of responses. Which the original author here commented on quite a bit.

Not really no, Ahsoka was sold as a mini series. Instead it was a sequel to a children’s TV show and also the intro of a new story.

It’s a dumb and disappointing show.

Unbelievable. It sounds even duller and less fun than I’d imagined, and I’d imagined a complete bore of a finale.

Why were they slowly flying Ahsoka’s ship along with the turtle people?!? The turtle people weren’t trying to leave, this is their home. There is no reason, other than to stall for the plot, that Ahsoka and crew didn’t just get on the ship and fly to the Star Destroyer.

Cocoon!

That was a really bad show. I think it was worse than Obi-Wan.

One of my biggest bugbears with it is the (imo) unnecessary grind required to unlock even basic fun things.

That is exactly what they are. You could see the enthusiasm for everything the new cast had, particularly in TFA (Which while being a nostalgia bomb, just radiated love for the franchise and its tropes). Boyega, Ridley, and Driver put out some really solid performances that just wound up wrecked by the scripts and

Speaking of new star wars characters.  I will still stand by the cast of the Star Wars sequel trilogy as “A great cast of characters given nothing interesting to do” as my way of describing that trilogy.

Probably like Rhino in Miles Morales: a fun tutorial to beat him at the beginning and then you see him one more time 2/3 through the game and remember, “Oh yeah, Kraven’s in this.” Any more Kraven than that is too much Kraven.

I think it’s the same thing with them remaking Silent Hill 2 instead of the first Silent Hill: SH2 and MGS3 are the most “prestigious” games in their respective series and what people talk about the most so for Konami it makes sense to just do them instead of doing the earlier games.

God, this fight was a pain in the ass. By this point in the game you probably have a preferred lightsaber style that isn’t Cere’s, you’re limited to only 4 heals, and Vader does a LOT of damage in the right circumstances.

I kind of wish Coruscant was the big explorable planet. It’s beautifully realized and I enjoyed every second of that first level.

That people are more interested in nitpicking a click-baity title than they are in acknowledging the hard work and insanity that went into these photos is so disappointing.
