Interestingly, while I was in the early stages of my path to militant anti-football stance, one of the things that gave me a huge push forward was a Packers-Bears game something like five or six years ago in which most of my co-workers (I was a Minnesotan living in southern Wisconsin and working in northern Illinois)

Don’t play dumb. Dalvin Cook is a promising rookie running back, but Aaron Rodgers is the best player in the league.

Yeah, it’s crazy that MVP winning quarterbacks get more press than Rookie running backs.

Football does terrible things to decent people. When battle isn’t being waged on the gridiron, they’re very well-meaning, rational human beings. But once the opening whistle blows, the tribal mentality kicks in. An opposing gladiator’s injury that might require hospitalization is suddenly a cause of celebration.

I had never considered the word game aspect, and I like it.

I’m a Day 1 Puig fan. IDK if it’s chicken or egg, but holy moly, the biggest actual difference by far is his newfound plate discipline. He is absolutely SPITTING on anything that’s not in the zone. I don’t disagree with you, but in this case I think it makes sense for them to do it. They were allowing for the last gen consoles when developing the first game, I’m sure there were some corners cut for 360/PS3 sake on top of the additional resources redirected to those.

I can understand getting sequels to single player games: Sonic 1, 2, 3. Uncharted 1, 2, 3, 4. Each game is a piece, a chunk of the story, etc.

I do hope they release a patch to change the game around so that you can solo all the content to see what it’s like. Just have the two options. Solo version with no gear drops and normal mode.
