Just an FYI, he doesn’t talk about his kids by name so they don’t get unwanted attention and all that. He always refers to them as Thing 1 and Thing 2 when he talks about them.

the problem with Alan Wake was that the combat mechanic became very tiresome about halfway through the game.

Yup, there’s a setting just for this on the Xbox One (I believe it’s labeled as “instant on”). I’ve never had to wait for an update as a result.
