I don’t have kids, but my girlfriend’s nephew will talk for days about Fortnite and Roblox and some other Minecraft mods or something where you can have dragons and stuff.

Yeah, I’m pretty excited for a chance to pick this up for free, add it to my backlog and never actually get around to playing it. But it’s nice to know that it’s there just in case.
I like to think that nobody in their right mind is going to try “white guy visits Japan and becomes the best samurai ever” in 2021. But who knows, they made a movie where Jared Leto is in the Yakuza, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised whenever someone tries dancing with wolves yet again.
An American game studio succeeded. I feel like the barrier of making a decent video game movie should be higher than making a movie set in Japan, but I guess we’ll see.
Ghost of Tsushima was heavily inspired by Kurosawa. They have a wealth of source material beyond the game to pull from, so it shouldn’t be too hard!
Yeah, I figured pre-Civil War Avengers were all getting some kind of living stipend since they all seemed to be at the compound or at least spending significant time there. Maybe not earning a salary but getting Stark gear and maybe some monetary gifts for their contributions. Maybe even a life insurance policy, who…
Oh... Oh no.... I remember working in a game store around the time I graduated high school, and all of these were still on the shelf. It wasn’t quite 20 years ago yet for me, but it’s damn close.
Maybe I should just get around to playing FF15 then...?
Forespoken didn’t really catch my attention... Until she started zapping around. The rest of it looked kind of dull in like a 2010s Big Brown Action Game kind of way, but I’m intrigued by the movement.
Nuculer. It’s pronounced Nuculer.
Man, I feel like I could have written this. I felt like trash when I left the first area and realized I’d abandoned a bunch of them.
At this rate, the game will be dead long before they ever do that. It’s like they made the announcement just to piss people off and then not even follow through on their ill will.
Wow, that’s bold. I’d play the campaign for this but $15 is my absolute ceiling.
Centerist?
I don’t even have the game and I think this is a good thing. From what I’ve heard, the grind is tedious — so leveling up a character through the campaign (which I’ve heard good things about) is positive.
Midwesterner here. I’ll get down with some catfish any day of the week. But especially on Friday.
I’m guessing (hoping) that people aren’t watching for six hours a day, but it’s the “always on” quality that keeps it going. Like you can just pop over anytime and see what’s up.
Same. I think I would have been bored with streamers as a teenager too.
I had those thoughts too. There’s definitely value to people being open and “unfiltered” but I feel like those are just considered inherently good qualities a lot of the time. And then we end up people electing a president because he’s a “straight-shooter.” Some things should be filtered.
I don’t know, the whole thing is like 5,000 words. I bailed out before I even got to a video of Miko. I have seen investigative exposés more succinct than this. I scrolled down here hoping someone else might be discussing why I should care.
