No, I haven’t pre-ordered a game in years. But I would like to see more than a Pixar short about this brand new game that they just casually dropped after 53 minutes of Tom Clancy updates.

Yeah, it was in a great spot for a big announcement (I was with most people in hoping for a new Splinter Cell announcement there). I was surprised with how abrupt it was. I was just kind of watching like ‘Wait... is that it?’

Weird that they have a game coming out in February and they showed literally nothing about it in the show. This write-up tells me way more than the Ubi show did and I still don’t really know what to expect. But the art style is different from all of the other Ubi Tom Clancy games, so that’s nice.

Basically, you can never go home again. We love the stuff that was surprising and inventive. As soon as we try to go back to the surprise and the magic, it’s different. It’s why sequels are never as good as the original and sequels that do something different are the worst offenders.

I gave up halfway through. I like Inception, I think. I only saw it once, actually. But it looked cool and was really inventive for a big budget movie. But if you have to write a dissertation about a movie that explains all the stuff that isn’t in the movie in order to make it “work” then it doesn’t work.

I’m dumb and am having a hard time figuring out how big that thing is. I’m mostly curious how it will have the “space” of a “traditional SUV” and also be “compact.” But that looks good and if it has more oomph than a Crosstrek — which would be hard not to — that looks like it could be a solid contender for my next car.
