I really like hearing that. The Tomb Raider games were some of the first games that really hooked me. I've been looking forward to this for a while and can't wait to have the spare cash to pick it up.

I agree. I don't know the last time I bought a game at launch, so I'm not really affected by the server stuff. I am really looking forward to picking it up on sale down the road though!
I don't know the details but I'm guessing there is a decent amount of work done on their rivers, which is why their serves we completely brought to their knees. It's pretty coming now for businesses to start moving private networks to the cloud for users all over the world, so I assume its not too hard to do the same…
I wonder if Tali has an auto-tuner built into her mask? She's really belting it out there...
My girlfriend was a nanny for two kids over the summer and they went apeshit for Star Wars. With the movies, comic books, Lego Star Wars games and cartoon, Star Wars is still everywhere.
50 percent off is pretty damn good. They're not going to beat used prices because these are downloads direct from MS. What are you expecting?
I can see both sides. I can understand using the freemium model (though I dislike it) because developers have to make money somehow. I prefer paying up front, but that can be a bar to entry. I just got Real Racing 3 on my iPad yesterday and enjoy it. When it comes time to upgrade my car or get some kind of service on…
It's funny - I don't think I've gone past the first stage in any of these games except Sonic. Even Bioshock. I just picked it up again yesterday and haven't yet played past the first zone.
Car games always make me wish I liked car games. These are some gorgeous shots. The Porsche shots look close to perfect. The rainy shots are really I press ice too, but shouldn't all those droplets of water be streaking off the car if its moving?
This looks pretty good for XBLA. I like.
It sounds so trivial, but that's pretty impressive. I always notice when it looks awful, but don't pay any attention when it's done really well until it's pointed out.
I had decided that Conan was an unfunny tool, but I couldn't stop laughing when I watched this. That was hil-larious.
I have to agree except for the first time you try to escape that damn ganado village in RE4. Leon and I were both blubbering babies when the dude with the chainsaw came around. We were both holding each other and quietly sobbing "why, God, why?" to each other.
I think one of the biggest steps this generation has been in physics, and they're still pretty mediocre. Just think back to when LucasArts demoed the new physics engine that was used in Force Unleashed. It went from rag doll and things breaking into precut shards to dynamic interactions. Now, we expect things to…
Considering they're still making games look increasingly good and run more smoothly all the time, I'm not expecting a huge leap from PS3 to PS4 or 360 to... 720 or whatever. I'm guessing in two or three years, we'll be able to see a noticeable difference, but I'd be shocked if launch titles were worlds more…
Damn, I should have looked through the comments before I posted the same video.
"One of the ones where people actually fight, too, not the old man shuffle from New Hope."
I was about to make almost this same exact comment. The fights in the original trilogy were much more tense. They moved purposely, like the weapons were as dangerous as they were supposed to be. The new movies are full of spins and flips that serve no purpose other than to look fancy.
Welcome to the Internet.
That is some fishy stuff. To say "Why do you care" to a journalist is the laziest response possible. They're paid to care, and when you have a console reveal and don't show the console, people get suspicious. If Ford came out with a new car and only showed the steering wheel and dashboard cam footage, you'd ask them…
